Brother's Brother Foundation Donates To KSDA

KSDA GETS A DONATION OF A FOURTY FOOT CONTAINER FROM BROTHER'S BROTHER FOUNDATION-CONTENTS WORTH AT LEAST $65K(Culled from the Boiler's Room) The Konobo Statutory District Association in the America (KSDA) has secured a 40 foot container of medical supplies and equipment in donation from the Brother's Brother Foundation (BBF). An offer letter from BBF to KSDA through BBF's Medical Program Director Mr. Thaddeus Adkins, which copy is in the possession of Boiler's Room, states that the giant philanthropic organization has desired to work with KSDA in providing medical and educational supplies to clinics, health centers and schools in Grand Gedeh County, Liberia.Prior to the offer letter, KSDA National Leadership through its Health and Welfare Committee, headed by Ms. Marie Johnson, had applied to BBF for assistance in medical supplies and equipment for clinics and health centers throughout the length and breadth (Glio,Twabo, Puto & Konobo) of Konobo Statutory District. After this welcoming news was published by the African Start Newspaper, one of the weekly dailies within the Liberian-American diaspora, the Boiler's Room had an exclusive interview with the National President of KSDA, Mr. Alexander Yallah.My Yallah told the B-Room News that the entire membership of his organization expressed excitement upon greeted by such good news. He said the monetary value of the container contents is worth at least $65,000.00, and his organization remains very grateful to BBF and all other organizations and individual donors to KSDA projects here in the US and abroad. He furthered that KSDA will host its 12th Annual National Convention on August 12 -14, 2016, in the City of Philadelphia, and the public is welcome; and once the convention is climaxed, KSDA with ship the donated container to Konobo Statutory District, Grand Gedeh County, and the contents (medical supplies & equipment) will be distributed to all health centers and clinics in the four sections (Glio, Twabo, Putu & Konobo) of the district.KSDA is a Liberian-American based non-for-profit organization with a 501 (c) (3) status.
